Rachel Summers is 16 years old and lives in Birmingham, Alabama. Her debut single “Unstoppable” was inspired by her long battle with anxiety. It all began when she was just a little girl, after several family members died from various illnesses in a short period of time. Realizing that sickness and death could strike at any time without warning, Rachel began to live in fear. Paralyzing thoughts and panic attacks would hold her captive from enjoying school and other typical activities.

Thankfully, her fears have lessened over time, but they do still exist. God has given her faith and a love for music which gives her hope for the future. Rachel says, “I feel most satisfied when I sing, because I know God is always with me. I sing for Him.”

“Unstoppable” encourages listeners to lift their eyes to heaven, trusting God to drown mountains of fear in the sea.
